My thoughts on the book-
I found this book to be very thoughtful and precise. It made me think about the simple pleasures of life that we usually take for granted like the presence of our parents or the happiness that comes from being a free spirit. This book shows the growth of a beautiful relation between two strangers who eventually turn into the best of friends and sisters. The beautiful relation between Suhana and her father who crosses all boundaries to fulfill his daughter’s dreams is really heartwarming. Although I felt like the author was in a rush to complete the book and the ending had a great scope for improvement. Overall, the book carried a great message and was a good read. I would recommend this book to readers who are looking for a light and sentimental read.
I would like to extend my thanks to Ghazala for giving me this book under the Pristine Review Program. I would also like to thank Blue Rose Publication for this opportunity.
In a conversation with Shreya Kataria, author of “WE ARE ALIVE TO LIVE ONLY”.
1. Tell us about yourself.
- A woman, nature enthusiast, universe breather and constantly searching about the soul’s thirst of being on earth.
2. What do you think is the reason for a clash between dreams and reality?
- We dream of buying light and in reality we have sun for free. Maybe this is the reason.
3. Do you think relationships affect how we perceive our goals in life?
-Absolutely, we are made of love and we seek love in things and humans. Things we can change but humans we cannot.
4. Many people give up their dreams for the sake of their family, what do have to say about that?
- Dreams are assets. Family is a way of life. The way of your life can be adjusted, assets cannot.
5. If not being an author, what was your dream in life?
-I could be painter or a film-maker. Basically, something of art.
