Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 7979 comments For those interested in coming along to our next get together, please put your names down in this thread, and we will advise you with details of the venue once the numbers are confirmed.

Date - Saturday, 15th June 2019
Time - 11.00am for coffee followed by lunch
Location - Hornsby (close to public transport)
RSVP - Friday 7th June 2019

Also, because the Mystery Book Swap is always fun, we will do it again.

Mystery Book Swap

1. Bring along one book to the venue to give away – preferably a new book or a book in excellent condition.

2. Wrap the book in whatever paper you have at home.

3. Place a tag on the wrapping with the description of the genre.

4. Each participants name will be placed in a hat, and when your name is drawn, you can select a mystery book from the pile.

Join us for a great few hours chatting books (among other things!)

Book 5 & 6 are small format paperback ( the printing isn’t too small)

I'd written out my "yes please Carolyn" last night, then realised I really didn't need it with the hundreds I'm trying to get rid of :) Thought you might take my place Marianne :)

No you misunderstand Carolyn - I didn't actually post it. Deleted the post when I realised I'd be silly to get it ;)

Glad you enjoyed the play!

message 46: by Carolyn (new)

Carolyn | 7772 comments Oh - I see what you meant Brenda! I also try not to get too tempted by the books on offer! Too many books to read already and no more space for physical books.

I am looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday! I am out to lunch on Friday too, a Dymock's lunch at the Wentworth with Armando Lucas Correa as the speaker. I am very ashamed that I have not yet got around to reading his book The Daughter's Tale

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 7979 comments I have been getting together the books I am bringing: for signing, for swap, for borrows, for discussion. And working out how big a bag I'll need.
