Stacey D. | 1707 comments I just saw the fantastic Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum here in NYC, recommended for everyone. So good that it’s made me want to learn more about this charismatic artist and her strange but wonderous life.

There are so many bios out there about Frida, though; I don’t know what’s good. Can anyone recommend something?

I don't have any book recommendations but I wanted to tell you that I'm jealous because (a) NYC and (b) Frida Kahlo art!

Anna | 969 comments There is a 2002 film "Frida" starring Salma Hayek as Frida Kahlo, I found it really good. It portrays her passionate and colourful life very well.
