As always, this is a totally spoiler zone, so tread lightly if you haven't yet read the book.

I forget who it is - why didn't you like him/her?

I loved this one! Emily Woo Zeller would never have been my first choice as a narrator, because she's too whispery/breathy. But the story - loved it! Loved Khai and especially that conversation he had with his brother and cousin after his first night with Esme, which had me laughing out loud.
This was a wonderful glimpse into Vietnamese/American culture as well. Definitely a 5-star book for me.

bookellenic | 1 comments Hey, I know I'm joining the talk way too late, but I just finished it. I haven't read The Kiss Quotient, but this one did not impress me to be honest. I think I didn't exactly gel with the characters nor the plot. Around 2.5/5 for me. Khai was indeed the most interesring character, and judging by personal experience I'd say his reactions were realistic.
