It's time for June's nominations! Books that we have not read in the past two years are eligible for nomination. Nominations must be at least 50 years old, written by a woman, and please state whether or not you can lead.
There is no theme. Nominations end the 15th.

Jamie Zaccaria Patience & Sarah by Isabel Miller.

Patience & Sarah by Isabel Miller

Set in the nineteenth century, Isabel Miller's classic lesbian novel traces the relationship between Patience White, a painter, and Sarah Dowling, a farmer, whose romantic bond does not sit well with the puritanical New England farming community in which they live. Ultimately, they are forced to make life-changing decisions that depend on their courage and their commitment to one another.

June's poll: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1...

As a reminder, June 2019 will be the last month for everyone to be able to vote for the book choice. We have had several months of very low participation in the book discussions chosen by the group. We are looking at allowing only those readers who join the discussions to be able to vote for the upcoming book selections.
