Read a book with a collection of short stories in a series

Category 2: Finish the series!

Finish reading 1 series: Nightblood
Finish reading a 2nd series: Our Dark Duet
Finish reading a 3rd series

Category 3: Just for fun!

Read a book with 'Sun' in the title OR a sun on the cover
Read a book with flowers on the cover

Finished my first read for this challenge - hurray!!

I finished Furyborn (Empirium, #1) by Claire Legrand which I am putting as first book in a series. It could also count as a book in a trilogy so I might end up shifting the category later depending on what else I read.

Thanks Heather. I haven't read much of Ruin and Rising yet so that's my plan this weekend.

Finished Ruin and Rising (The Shadow and Bone Trilogy, #3) by Leigh Bardugo which is a book from a trilogy. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to start on the spin off series next month :)

Up next I'm going to be reading Down London Road (On Dublin Street, #2) by Samantha Young I'm not sure how I'll go with it. I remember loving the first book when I read it years ago but I am not a big lover of contemporary books anymore so we will see.

I finished Down London Road (On Dublin Street, #2) by Samantha Young and I absolutely loved it. I didn't expect to love it quite as much as I did. It was amazing. I will definitely be continuing the series very soon.

As that is the UK cover, I'm counting it as a book with pastel colours.

I’ve finished Kingsbane (Empirium, #2) by Claire Legrand which was absolutely amazing. I loved every moment of it though the ending broke me. I am utterly heartbroken. The wait for book 3 is going to kill me.

I’ve changed some of them around to this can be the book in a trilogy. Nightblood was moved to ‘finish one series’ and Ruin and Rising was moved to ‘last book in a series’’ as it was a trilogy first before the Grisha verse was expanded.

Ruin and Rising is still the end of a series, the other books are spin-offs really :)

Finished The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy, #1) by S.A. Chakraborty and I adored it. It doesn't really fit in a category but it is a book in a series.

Finished Our Dark Duet (Monsters of Verity, #2) by Victoria Schwab which is a book in a duology and another series finished :)

Finished The Kingdom of Copper (The Daevabad Trilogy, #2) by S.A. Chakraborty and Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young both of which are in a series but unsure if they fit into one of the categories.

I have so epically failed at this challenge. I intended to read 15... I managed 9. And I've been really sick this week so I highly doubt I'll be able to add another one to that before the end of the month.

So I was almost there... I ended up reading 10 (the category I was aiming for was 11-15).

I've finished The Last Namsara (Iskari, #1) by Kristen Ciccarelli and it was amazing. I loved every single moment of it.
