We need to start nominating books for this July/August group read in French. Any suggestions?
I would like to nominate this 1961 classic that sits on my shelves waiting to be read: Les Damnés de la terre by author Frantz Fanon who lived in Algeria from 1953 on and who was strongly involved in the Algerian independence movement.

Thanks for these wonderful nominations. You have until Friday to suggest more titles. I'll launch the poll this weekend.

Les Damnés de la terre won the poll, closely followed by L'amas ardent. I set up the folders for the first one. Do you want to read the second one as well? Or would that be too much?
