Monthly Challenge: 1st to 30th April
Only books read during the challenge period are allowed.

Guidelines:
- Read ONE book for each category (10 books in total).
- You don't have to read all ten categories, just read whatever you are able.
- Any genres are acceptable.
- Any book length is acceptable.

For the competitive (optional)
- At the end of each month, document your finished books in the reporting thread
- 1pt for each book completed, 2pts for any book that is on the current Goodreads winners and nominees list
- Each month's totals will be collated and the member with the most points at the end of the year will have bragging rights ...... and we may be able to award a (small) prize!

2) Letter of the Month: Read a book with the title or author starting with A

3) Month in Numbers: Read a book with 5 letters or 5 words in the title (subtitle can count)

4) London Marathon: Read a book set in the same location as any 2019 marathon http://www.marathonrunnersdiary.com/

5) Maunday Thursday (Christian observance of the first Lord's Supper): Read a book with food on the cover

6) Find A Rainbow Day: Read a book with a colourful cover (minimum 3 colours)

7) St Georges Day (According to legend, he was a soldier who killed a dragon and saved a princess): Read a fantasy

8) National Siblings Day: Read a book where the MC has a sibling

9) Look up the Sky Day: Read a book with an item on the cover that you'd find in the sky (sun, stars, bird, plane etc)

10) National Library Week: Browse your shelves and read anything you like
