I was literally carried away with this book. I found myself in the role of the protagonist often with all the fears and disconcerting moments shared. The idea that suffering amnesia would be of a type where each day upon awakening your memory is wiped clean and needs to be reconstructed anew is a frightening and unsettling premise. Clearly one that works as a thrilling mystery as you follow Christine's struggle to regain her life's memories. I found myself reading this book at every available moment in my day. I did see the ending coming though. I would have preferred more of a surprise here given the rest of the book held you in suspense through other revealing facts. With this criticism, I dropped it to 4 *'s but certainly worthy of all 4 of them.
