Interested in seeing what you think of Bird Box. The book was definitely better. I have no idea what he’s going to do for the sequel.

I'm super excited to listen to it! I did watch the movie a few months ago. And I do know that the ending is slightly different in the movie and how it is different. And I am very intrigued about the sequel!

Stacie (stacieh) | 1945 comments I was excited to find that Harrow County, Vol. 1 Countless Haints by Cullen Bunn Harrow County, Vol. 1: Countless Haints was available on Comixology Unlimited- I really like Cullen Bunn. The only problem is that now I want to track down the other seven volumes. Delightfully creepy!

Finished listening to Bird Box by Josh Malerman last night. Enjoyed it. I liked the movie more for some reasons and the book more for other reasons. Started listening to The Lake House by Kate Morton this morning, it will be my last audiobook of the month and the readathon since it's 21 hours long! And I'm determined to finish reading The Stand by Stephen King by Tuesday. I'm about 60% through.

I have 5 ARCs that actually expire on Tuesday (they delete themselves) and I'm so sad I won't be able to read them all and that I didn't plan better. I can "save" 2 of them on my iPod and my iPad if I leave the WiFi off so I'm going to do that and try to read 1 more of them this weekend. I got a little overzealous with requesting them because they were all in my TBR. lol.

I am really proud of myself that I am very disciplined with my ARC requests. I would almost get paralyzed not being able to finish reading them in time had I too many.

Shelby Suderman | 2182 comments Little late but I finished The Bad Seed. Out of the three I read for this challenge I think I liked it the most. I really recommend the audiobook too. I picked it up randomly because I just needed a short audiobook and I'm really glad I did. It's dated, yes, but there were still some good creepy parts.

Sarah B | 391 comments I read Bird Box, Violet Eyes and Into the Drowning Deep in April...all three are good. I know people on this site seem to talk mostly about Bird Box and Into the Drowning Deep, but Violet Eyes was really scary. And good! I think it's scarier than the other two books. It's about spiders and flies... really nasty ones that will eat you.

I read Bird Box last month too! Violet Eyes sounds creepy great! Adding to my TBR. That cover doesn't seem to match the contents. lol

I just picked it up on Audible! Returned a book I didn't like and they've changed their credit rules so credits expire one year from issue date and I had 10 days to use the credit. I'll probably wait till Sept/Oct to listen to it though.
