Every month we will have a dual-themed challenge, and the minimum goal is to read 2 books. For more voracious readers, you can read more.

The two Challenges for September are:

Read a book by a female author

Read a book by a Male authoer

To sign up, just simply pick your books and post it. Again, you can read only 2, 4, 6, etc, depending on your interest, time, book availability and reading speed.

Remember, this doesnt start until September, I am just posting early so people can get their books in time

Have fun reading!

I never finished my male author :( /cry

Oh well I will have to pick it up another time lol.

Good job to those of you who completed your challenges :D

message 43: by Brenda (new)

Brenda Backman | 13 comments I never finished my male author either. It's a slow read, I'll finish it someday.

message 44: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 276 comments Tricia, maybe we should start a favorite male author topic. Do you think that would help for people who want to try a male author, but can't find one they like?

message 45: by ♥Tricia♥, Group Lead (new)

♥Tricia♥ (siddie) | 1167 comments Mod
Yeah, that might be a good topic to have. Since it seems there is a lack of them out there that are decent.

Jim Butcher doesnt suck, and he was my pick. I just think his style is a bit different then I am used.

I do plan on picking the book back up to finish it though.
