Spottedthunder had just croosed the border near ThunderClan territory when a cat ran across the border, carrying a kit.

*Six moons in the past*

"Please, please let my kit go," she begged, gasping as Eclipse pressed his paw harder down on her throat.

"No," Eclipse cackled as he shoved her young kit back with one hind paw. Star struggled to maybe save her kit, but it was hopeless.

But with one valiant effort she launched herself upward in a last attempt. But Eclipse hissed and tore her throat out with his claws, watching in satisfaction as she fell limply back. He turned to her one kit, who was shaking miserably in the cold.

"Well, now," Eclipse drawled to the she-kit. "what am i going to do with you?"

Scourge struggled free from Spottedthunder's grip.He pounced on him, and bit into his neck, as hard as he could.

*The present*

Ray shifted her gaze just the barest fraction, giving herself a better view of the battle. It was quite interesting, really. After all she had learned about the clans it was good to see them actually do what they were always talking about doing. Battling. Plus, Eclipse would be pleased. Any information from the clans eased his growing obsession with them. Ray purred as she delicately leapt down and padded away to report back to Eclipse. Her long, pure white fur waved gently, and her beautiful gray/blue eye gleamed in the sunshine.

Scourge saw this cat.He slipped away to see what she was doing.

Ray laughed, her laughter tinkling gently down when she realized she was being followed. She switched direction, coming nose-to-nose with her pursuer.

"What are you doing?Watching our battle, what's up with that?",Scourge lightly growled.

"What's up with you?" Ray purred simply. "Just...observing."

"Maybe because I don't really know what's going on.I'm just a Bloodclan warrior!",he hissed.

"Don't get you fur ruffled," Ray said lightly.

"Why don't you do me a favor, and tell your cats to let me go!",he hissed, turning swiftly away.

"My cats?" Ray asked, confused. "But...I only watch those cats. I've never even talked to one before." ((Ray's no where near the camps anymore))

"Then, how were you able to watch the battle in Windclan camp?!"

"I wasn't in Windclan's camp," Ray explained patiently. "I was on top of the gorge of Thunderclan's camp, watching. Then, i left. You found me leaving." She smiled.

"Well, why were you watching the battle?Are you a kittypet?"

"Kittypet?" Ray laughed. "No, i'm a rogue. And i'm watching beause...i like to."

"Clan?" Ray purred. "No, i don't think you understand. I was born six moons ago, in the forest. I was never in a clan. I just like to watch."

"Bloodclan?" Ray asked, surprised. She had known nothing of Bloodclan. "What clan is that? Tell me about it." She sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws.

"I don't know why, but every cat in Bloodclan respects me.When Ancient Riverclan was starting to take me away, Trigger showed up and said to them to take her, instead of me so that I can be leader.When they said that they're still taking me, and her then, another cat showed up and told them to take that cat, instead of me.It went on, untill they decided to leave."

"Important,huh?" Ray smiled. "I know what you mean."

"I got to go.My leader is trapped in Ancient Thunderclan camp.I have to help her."He waved good-bye with his tail, and started padded off towards Ancient Thunderclan camp.

"Bye!" Ray picked herself up and sprinted back to Eclipse

Rainstar looked over his clan with a proud eye. Tonight was the Gathering, and he was pondering who to bring with him.

Wolfheart looked quietly after the rogues.

Rainstar led his clan to the Gathering.

"Come on!" Stormpaw hissed and Sunpaw nodded.

"I'm coming!" He whispered back. Stormpaw giggled and set one paw inside the leader's den. "Go!" Sunpaw hissed. "I'm right behind you!"

"And what are you two doing?" Raistar meowed, coming up behind the two apprentices. "Get out of my den, or i'll eat you for freh-kill," he teased. The two apprentices scampered away, laughing.

Graydawn padded into camp, carrying a rabbit. She saw Rainstar ushering two apprentices away from his den, her eyes filled with amusement.

Harepaw padded out of the apprentices, yawning.

Cloudstorm prodded Rainstar. "You're silly!" she said. "I hope these kits come soon. I feel like I can't do anything." she said laying down in the sun.

"They'll come any day now." Spottedthunder called to her.
