Marcia Our library needs expanding. My 5 year old daughter just isn't into the same books my 7 year old son read! I need some ideas of authors/titles for her TO READ HERSELF. She loves the Biscuit series (but not sure I can handle hearing another one!) and Margaret Hillert. She loves chapter books, but I'm looking for something SHE can read and... did I mention, it HAS to be girly!! Ideas?

Alexandra Here are a few ideas,

The Princess Knight by Cornelia Funke

Angelina Ballerina by Katharine Holabird

Olivia by Ian Falconer

The famous Fancy Nancy books are going to have an early reader line being published sometime this spring. If those aren't girly, I don't know what are! :-)

Ada The Fancy Nancy readers are actually in bookstores now. My little one loves Fancy Nancy and the Boy From Paris.
