I felt a need to read some light fictional work set in Iraq, and Christie's mysteries came to mind. I just did not manage to read them in January.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing as to setting....nothing in the whodunit was dictated by the locale and in fact, little sense of either Iraq in the 1930s or even an archeological dig was to be found. It is however an excellent classic Hercule Poirot murder mystery. That is why it should be read, not for location atmosphere.

And it has a map!
