Honestly, after I found out she was okay and Jeremy killed her, I was just wondering if all the great reviews of this book were about this, but after the actual end I can understand why people are worshipping this book so much. I really enjoyed reading it, Colleen's writting always get me stuck to her novels, and the mystery also kept hooked to the pages, I think it has a great ending. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-4

(view spoiler)[That opening chapter had me shook. When I read the first line, I was like 'okay, that's how we're starting this, this should be good'.

So we can guess that Lowen and Jeremy will obviously have a fling of some sort. I'm interested to see how injured Verity is that she is unable to write the last 3 books in the series.

I feel like there may have been a little foreshadowing from Corey, when he mentioned that all these incidents have happened in such a short time and he's concerned about Lowen going and living there. Could Jeremy or Verity have something to do with any of the tragedies? Intrigued to find out..

(view spoiler)[What the actual fuck?!?! I had to put my Kindle down for a second after reading that chapter from Verity's autobiography. It was shocking and I certainly wasn't expecting it.

There's a part of me that's wondering if Jeremy has read the manuscript or if he knew about her plans, and if he had something to do with the car crash? I'm becoming more and more certain he probably did.. (hide spoiler)]

I think there was/is something seriously wrong with Verity, and she was clearly obsessed with Jeremy. I truly think she's faking her disability with the help of the nurses, and she's gonna take some revenge of Lowen/Jeremy.

As shocking and disgusting as they are, I'm at the stage where I'm looking forward to reading Verity's chapters because I want to know how she got to that state. I want to know how Harper died, and I'm kinda disgusted with myself haha.

I'm not sure what I believe to be honest. Maybe she was trying to save herself by writing that letter and then planning to run away with Crew, but what if she was innocent?!?!

And Lowen is cool with all this? She's cool with just carrying on like her new boyfriend didn't just kill his wife in front of her, and he was the reason she was hospitalised in the first place?

Overall, I really liked this book. Definitely kept me on my toes and I think everyone in this book is batshit crazy!!!!!!!!

Finished (view spoiler)[I honestly don’t know how to rate this book. 3.5 stars maybe? I devoured this book but the ending left me unsatisfied. I think I would’ve liked it better if everyone hadn’t hyped it up so much. I kept hearing how it was “creepy” and “fucked up”... it was definitely disturbing, but not to the extreme that everyone was freaking out over. I know I’m an unpopular opinion here and I absolutely hate that. 😞 I wanted to LOVE it.

i started but didn't really have much time to read over the weekend so i am only at the second chapter of Verity's book. really creepy scene in the beginning and some of the story that has been revealed seems real sad. i am intrigued about how several things that have yet to be revealed yet transpired so it has me speculating all kinds of crazy theories. guess i need to make some time to keep reading so i can see if any are correct and so i can read more of the discussion without reading spoilers.

I thought this book was messed up! It creeped me out and I did not enjoy reading the parts in So Be It because they were disturbing for me to read as a mom. I think the "disturbing factor" was also amplified because I didn't read any reviews before diving in, so it surprised me. I kept expecting a nice little romance like the other Colleen Hoover books. That isn't what we have here, but I can appreciate that she stretched herself as a writer. I think she was very successful in writing a suspenseful book. (hide spoiler)]
