I finally finished and don't know what to think. The last 25% of the book was great and made me understand why people love this book so much. But getting there was so so so slow.

I’ve seen that book everywhere Britt. I just don’t know whether it’s my sort of thing so I never picked it up. Especially if it’s really slow. If I’m not enjoying a book in the first 50-100 pages I just put them down.

It is so so so slow. I think it would drive you crazy Kay.
I completely understand Jo. I had so many people who I generally agree with their ratings tell me how amazing it was so I couldn't seem to allow myself to dnf it. And the end was really good so at least I got something out of struggling through!

Well that's good! I got in on Netgalley and I had a lot of books backing up on my shelf at the time so I thought it was better to move on.

I loved Splintered. It's such a great series. Enjoy all of your books. I haven't read Antigoddess but I've read some of the authors other books and love them.

I'll tell you if I'm going to get to Antigoddess anytime soon Lili! I've enjoyed other things by the author and it sounds so good.
I've wanted to read Splintered for so long. Love reading retellings.

Kraken Bake just sounds so ridiculous, made both Joe and I laugh when reading the back

I did read Kendare Blake's Anna Dressed in Blood duology and I really loved it! I'm pretty sure I'll love Antigoddess too as I love mythology 😉 lol.
