I believe that the book was published with in the past 20 years, most likely less. I read it in the past few years. It was when I was reading a lot of Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, Sabrina Jeffries, Eloisa James, Gaelen Foley, and Sarah Maclean, I checked under my read books, but I can't seem to find it.

I remember that the Duke is reluctant to get married, and his wife is ignorant on how baby is conceived. Every time they have sex, he spills himself on the sheets. For some reason she believes that he is infertile. She finally makes the connection and confronts him.

They continue to have relations. She really wants a baby. One night she gets him good and drunk. She straddles him while they are having sex and refuses to get off of him. He is angry that she tricked him. He either leaves or sends her away, and tells her to let him know if know if a baby results. I believe she writes him later saying that it didn't work.
