New Authors Challenge—Challenge yourself to read a certain amount of books by "new-to-you authors".

This challenge is a year long challenge.

Levels:

• New kid on the block– 2 new authors
• Looking for new – 3-10 new authors
• True blue and new – 11-19 new authors
• Newsies – 20-35 new authors
• Fresh and new- 36-49 new authors
• A stunning debut- 50+ new authors

Bonus-
•Gold Star level- you reach this level if you have at least 5 of the authors that you have read are DEBUT authors (meaning it's their first book published)

As always you can track your progress here or on the reading tracker-https://www.goodreads.com/challenges/...

Let us know if you are "in" for this one and if so which level you would like to try for.

Hanna | 15 comments I'm going to try to do this one! I'm going for a conservative goal: Looking for new – 3-10 new authors. Three should be very simple, but I don't know if 11 is so easy. ;)

Macey (fairlieforever) I am going to aim between 10 and 15 books by Jill Williamson. I have already read Blood of Kings, so i will try to read 12 more

message 46: by Loraine, CFD Momma (new)

Loraine (librarydiva) | 4707 comments Mod
Macey - once you have read a book by a new author, that author is not considered new any more. In this challenge, each new author is only allowed one book. Hope that helps.

message 47: by Macey (new)

Macey (fairlieforever) Oh. Thank you very much. I am new to this group and wasn't sure how the challenge worked.
