Bringing new edition to prominence

Hello Goodreads Librarians,

Can new editions / covers take prominence in search results? Two titles with new editions and new covers are linked to the original edition, but the old edition cover is taking the top spot in search results.

The Adding New Books folder is for books that don't yet exist on Goodreads. Moved to Book Issues.

When the first-listed author on a work has claimed their author profile, they have the ability to manually select a default edition. Otherwise, the default edition is simply the one shelved by the most users.
