Rachelle | 144 comments Tandem Demise (Cycle Path Mystery #3) by Duffy Brown is my career-based cozy. Evie Bloomfield runs a bike-rental store on Mackinac Island. She also sees to solve mysteries in her spare time when she is not decorating bikes creatively. I love that she has a Nancy Drew themed bike.

I haven't read Tandem Demise yet, but I'm looking forward to it. A Nancy Drew themed bike is great! :)

Working Murder is A Clara Gamadge Mystery and though its author can't be found on the Cozy Mystery list, her aunt, Elizabeth Daly is on the list.
Elizabeth Daly wrote Henry Gamadge mysteries and Clara is his widow.
Clara is vacationing in Florida when the book starts, during the book she travels to her son's home in New York, Boston, and Rockport. She actually a New Yorker but has leased her home and gone to Florida to live with a cousin for a year. Henry Gamadge was Clara's late husband and he was a gifted sleuth. Aunt May calls Clara to come home and convince a relative's widow to have him buried in the family mausoleum. Clara is reluctant but her son gets on the phone and says "Yoop" which was their safe word and indicates there is trouble. When they arrive in New York, they find out that May has died.

I enjoyed reading this book. Though you almost need to make a family tree to see how everyone is related. There is a question of who is buried in that mausoleum in Holy Martyrs Cemetery is it just a bootlegger or are others there and what happened to May's daughter, and why would May commit suicide. You will have to find this book and read it, to find out the answers to those questions.

Rachelle | 144 comments The Big Chill is the first book in the Undercover Dish Mysteries by Julia Buckley. Lilah Drake secretly makes covered-dishes for the residents of Pine Haven, Illinois. On church bingo night, a person who ate chili that Lilah made for a client, dies. The suspect and Lilah do not tell the police about the business.

I enjoyed this book and the idea of a covered dish business. If I could cook, this would be an interesting business to have.

Rachelle | 144 comments In reviewing this list, I noticed I had not included The Cat Who Came to Breakfast (Cat Who, #16) by Lilian Jackson Braun. I have a review of this on Goodreads. I loved that dominos helped in solving the mystery as I have been playing dominos with friends.
