Dead and Alive (Group Read - October 2014)

Dead and Alive will be featured as our official group read title for October 2014. Five years ago, in October 2009, we featured our first group read title which happened to be Prodigal Son (Frankenstein Book One). We decided to read all of Koontz's readily available titles. You will notice in the subject of each Discussion thread topic we have kept the record of when the title was featured as a group read. Our 5 year cycle will be finished with Dead and Alive.

In the future when we select a group read, there will likely be a new thread created for that title rather than reusing the existing threads as we have done in the past.

I just finished reading Dead and Alive. It does get rather silly during the second half but I still really love the book especially the relationship of Erika and Jocko :-)

Jocko was perfect :D and Deucalion... my god I cried when he told the reader about his pain in chapter 41... goooosh it was painful to read... I read it a couple of years ago and yet I still remember many of the scenes, especially this chapter. Hell, I am going to read that book once again soon. This is my all time favorite series And I don't think I surprise anyone by saying Deucalion is my favorite character<3
