If you hear no response after a long while, they probably don't need any more librarians. You are welcome to post all 1600 requests here.
Hi Paul, getting granted Librarian status took more than a month in my case, so long process time doesn't always indicate a rejected application. I recommend posting requests of book edits here in this forum, as I've seen staff posts which hinted at activity in this group can help them come to a decision regarding approval of a new Librarian.

I see - would I post each needed edit in its own thread? Or could I group them? ...
You could start a dedicated thread (or use this one) and post each book in a separate message. That way librarians can note which ones have been done as they go along.

Unfortunately, for the existing entries (already in the GR database), the 1,600 photobooks that I've read almost universally have incorrect author data, missing book covers, duplicate versions of the exact same book/edition, etc.
I applied to be a Librarian about a month ago and would really like to be able to fix these thousands of errors, if only for my own records . . . GR says that my Librarian application is still pending, does anyone know how long this takes normally? Thank you!
