Children's book hardback fiction short story collection about dinosaurs from their perspective in a "slice of life" style with some illustrations

There were at least two books in a series from when I was a kid in the 80s. So it would be 80s and older. I remember a story about a Triceratops with a bug that had been laid in its haunches, and it rubs up against a tree till it is raw, but the insect larva is dead. There was also a story each for an archaeopterex, iguanadon, anklyosaurus and others. I don't think the illustrations were on every page. My fuzzy memory remembers the stories as not particularly cutesy nor the art cartoonish.
