Janet Evanovich is my go-to author when I need something light - She never disappoints.
In this episode of Stephanie Plum's world-she and her side-kick Lula get roped into running a deli -the chaos that develops keeps the reader chuckling until the final chapter. The one problem is that every time they hire a manager, he mysteriously goes missing. Stephanie's steady guy, Morelli, and her "guy on the side" Ranger are kept busy making sure Stephanie is not the next one to end up missing.
I rounded down to 4 1/2 stars because Grandma was not a big part of the story, and she is one character I love to laugh at. However, the ending of "25" has me hopeful she will be a focal point in "26".
All I want for Christmas is for Ranger to call me and say "Babe"
