These are all great ideas! I'm thinking I'll do Preacher since it's been languishing on my shelves for years.

Some other options:

Carnet de Voyage- by the same author as Blankets, a travel diary about his trip to Morocco.

Pyongyang: A Journey in North Korea

Japan AI: A Tall Girl's Adventures in Japan

Thoughts From Iceland: A Travelogue Comic

I feel like Captain Marvel, Volume 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More could count for this too.

Oh you are in for a treat with Preacher, Volume 1: Gone to Texas. It's like Tarantino meets Westerns meets AMC. I was not surprised at all when AMC optioned it for a series.

Nice suggestions as well! I'm trying to get into more slice of life and nonfiction works, and these all seem worth looking into.

And Captain Marvel, Volume 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More would totally count; that one is space trip through and through.

47Time I just read Illyria: Haunted that has the main character jump through some hoops before she attains her goal. While it helps to be more familiar with the Buffyverse, the very few references to outside events still makes this a quick, fun read for anyone.
