Claire | 1 comments I read this children's book in the early 2000's, I probably got it at a Scholastic book fair if that helps. It had a yellow/orange cover, and a very distinct art style. From what I remember, the story was about a royal bee family, and the daughter is kind of a brat. She orders all of the servants around the palace around until eventually they just get tired and stop doing things for her. In the climax she learns that she has to appreciate people and say please and thank you

Claire, is this a picture book (about 32-48 pages) or a chapter book with mostly words?

Can you describe the illustrations - realistic/cartoony/cute, simple/detailed, painted watercolors/bold graphics, sunny/dark/muted colors/black & white? Do they remind you of another illustrator or picture book author?
