I wrote this Prohibition Era coming of age story as a gift to my mom. We were talking one day about my great-grandmother, who'd been a Flapper in the '20s, and I started to think about the tension of that era. As I say, the rules were clear ... but those rules were made to be broken !! From tension comes conflict -- and then a whole novel!
