Although you will not need to make selection posts like in the PtP, your teammates might like ideas for what to read so sharing what you're reading could be very helpful. Books must be 90 pages and MPG (Main Page Genre) Romance. Contemporary Romance, Historical Romance, Paranormal Romance or similar is acceptable, but it must be romance. Audiobooks and rereads are ok. Books can only be read once per person during the challenge even if it fits multiple categories. The same book can be read by teammates though. Once the task for the date is announced, you may not tag a book so that it fits or edit any lists - this must be done before the date begins.

The dates will begin on Saturdays at 6 PM EST, at that time the task for each date will be announced. Books must be completed and posted by the following Friday at Midnight EST, except when 'Visiting the Family' when you will have until the second Friday. Roses will be awarded before the next date begins. Each date we will be working towards spelling out B-A-C-H-E-L-O-R. The potential tasks for each letter will be posted in advance, but you will not know which task will be used until the date begins.

Roses are earned by:
🌹 The first rose per team is earned for reading 4 books fitting the task during the date.
Bonus roses may be earned by:
🌹 The team that finishes 4 books and posts in the Q&A/Announcement thread first wins a bonus rose. Note, posting is required to earn this rose.
🌹 Teams with each member completing the task (with a minimum of 6 books read) earn an additional rose.
🌹 Teams finishing 8+ books during the date win an additional rose.

Teams will not be eliminated even if they earn no roses, they will have a chance to catch up by earning additional roses on other dates. Players will be eliminated if they do not complete the task on two consecutive dates. Eliminated players will not be replaced. Remember, players are allowed to read multiple books for a given date in order to earn bonuses and/or to make up for teammates who do not read their book or who have been eliminated.

Hi everyone!! No idea who is on the team yet, but no doubt I will know most of you :) *edit* Unbelievably I only know a couple of you!! Great to make some new friends :D

I'm in Australia and amazingly it looks like I will be awake for the date announcements and to finalise our lists for the rose awards each week :D

I live out in the country on a cattle property but work part-time in our state capital 3 days a week ~ 6+ hours drive one-way. LOTS of time for audiobooks :) I read MM (gay) romance almost exclusively, with a sub-preference for contemporary and PNR/fanstasy

I live outside of Chicago and work in HR for a real estate company, downtown. I real just about everything and anything, mostly contemporary romance (mystery/ suspense/ dark/ erotic is my favorite) . I’m a book hoarder, and just started getting into the wonder of audio books.

I live just outside Detroit and am an elementary school teacher (until June when I retire:-). I read lots of different kinds of romance but my favorites are contemporary and paranormal. I used to read mostly historical but I guess I got overloaded. Now I just keep up with favorite authors in the genre. I also love urban fantasy, especially if there is a romance component.

My book boyfriends, all from UF series, are Bones (Night Huntress), Curran (Kate Daniels), Rowan (Throne of Glass), and Adam (Mercy Thompson).

Hello! I live in Northeast Ohio, and am so not ready for the hard winter that is already coming our way.

For reading preferences, my favorite would be urban fantasy, with my romances being a mix of paranormal, MC, professional athletes, mafia, rock bands, and just a smattering of some contemporary. I’ll also occasionally dab my toe into fantasy, but that’s usually only for a mind-blowing series like The Others or Throne of Glass.

As to book boyfriends, the two that came to mind for me were Connor “Mad” Rogan from the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews, and Griff Shipley from Bittersweet by Sarina Bowen. Bittersweet blew me away the first time I read it, with “Grumpy” Griff stealing my heart - an apple farmer in Vermont shouldering the responsibility for the family farm, and harboring a great passion of all things Star Wars.

Hi All - I live in Northeast Ohio (near Sandusky - home of Cedar Point for you thrill ride fans). CB - I'm the weirdo of the north. I love snow and can't get enough of it. I know, I know people want to punch me when I say that. Looking forward to this challenge but have to admit I'm a little anxious. As far as books and book boyfriends I love it all! Kristen Ashley is my absolute favorite, but I read all genres. I love M/M, so please Jane if you have any great suggestions share, share, share. It seems lately I've been back on a paranormal kick, so that's awesome. Cathy - Bones *big sigh*. I think I need to do a re-read. It's been way too long. Sunshine I love audio books. I am blessed that I can listen to audio books most of my workday as I code. I highly recommend the In Death series by J.D. Robb in audio. There is just something about how Susan Ericksen narrates that series. Roarke. You'll thank me! Give it a chance.
