Laila, it happened to me too. You can claim a gift credit in the price of the book with the customer service, they will put it on a gift account and then you can buy the book. It worked for me.

Hi Laila, oh no pity! I have got exactly same message when receiving my secret santa book. If you log on to Amazon Kindle you can get a gift card instead and buy other book which is available for NZ. Or you can get the gift card and log on to amzaon via your kindle device and try to download "A Thousand Splendid Suns" this way. Worked for me :)
