Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead. Just an amazing book. I find it interesting how often the plots in contemporary books move among different countries, in which case I find myself torn about whether to include the book on the list. I generally make that decision based on whether the part that takes place in a country (or city or region) that isn't already on my list conveys something about that place, whether it's the history or the culture or the natural world. I wonder if there will be the same level of international movement post-pandemic?

message 18: by Barbara K (new)

Barbara K | 327 comments Finished! Actually, I am guilty of poor record-keeping. When I reviewed everything today, I realized that I hit 80 quite a while ago. Today I cleaned up the list, leaving only crime novels and true crime, and I'm left with 84. Woo Hoo!
