Amanda and Dawson were high school sweethearts. After high school they went their separate ways in life. After the death of a man who was important to both Amanda and Dawson, they are reunited twenty years later for the funeral. Seeing each other brings to surface their love for each other in high school. Amanda has a family and is married and knows that loving Dawson will confuse her life.
