Karen A. Wyle (kawyle) | 107 comments I'd greatly appreciate some input from those of you who give books for the holidays: do you give ebooks or paperbacks? If both, which do you choose more often? (I'm planning some not-too-numerous social media posts about my books and need to decide which purchase links to include.)

Michel Poulin | 17 comments I would say, go for paperbacks. They are visually more satisfying gifts to receive than a data drive. That is of course unless your friend/relative is strictly an ebook reader and doesn't want to collect paperbacks. Also, I read in another past discussion that ebooks from certain publishers, like Amazon, have some restrictive long-term ownership rules on their ebooks, but I am not sure about that.
