Peter Mathews (pdmathews) | 215 comments Could someone please add the Amazon covers and original publication dates for these two books:

1. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/110...

Published in 2018.

2. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/023...

This is a transcript of Badiou's 1994-1995 seminar - so, 1995?

Abcdarian | 19905 comments Done, except for original dating of #2. Was there a publication of his seminar work in 1995? I combined the English translation with the French, but that seems to be published in 2013.

Peter Mathews (pdmathews) | 215 comments I'm not sure about the GR policy for this. I have seen seminars (by Heidegger, Lacan) published as books given the date in which the seminars/lectures were actually delivered publicly, while other books that are even in the same series are some given the date when the transcript was published.

Abcdarian | 19905 comments I'll leave it for someone who knows for sure.

The earliest publication of the earliest version of the content should be used. In most cases I would think that would be the transcript, although perhaps sometimes a written version was published at the same time as the lecture was given.
