Smile (Smile, #1) Smile question

graphic novels for 12 year old girls

Hi everyone,
I have a 12-year old girl who is loving graphic novels. But I'm struggling to find suitable ones. She has read all of Raina Telgemeier's books and would like something similar. She doesn't like dark / scary themes (have tried Coraline but it's a no-go) Does anyone know of anything that isn't too young or too dark but still is interesting?

Thanks in advance:)

She might like Be Prepared by Vera Brosgol. Just came out, and like Smile, is an autobiographical coming-of-age graphic novel about a girl who goes to a Russian summer camp.
She might also try manga series like Yotsuba&! by Kiyohiko Azusa, about an odd little girl raised by a single father in Japan. It’s really charming and funny. There are also some shojo manga series that are aimed at younger teen girls, like the Kitchen Princess series by Miyuki Kobayashi.

A feeeeew suggestions:
El Deafo by Cece Bell
Real Friends by Shannon Hale
Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson
Lunch Lady and the Cyborg Substitute (series) by Jarrett J. Krosockza
