Here you can nominate any word that is proudly South African for us to read in January.

Then we take the word we voted on and read a book starting with a letter in the word, or a author's name/surname that starts with the letter.

This month it has to be any Sotho word. Some examples:

Z -
U - Uglies
L - Lover Eternal
U -

Nominations will be open until 13th of Dec.

Bonus points if it fits in with the January 2019 theme:

Time/Calendars - The Julian calendar was adopted by the Romans which set 1 January as the start of the new year (45BC) and Queen Victoria accepted the proposal on Standard Time which created time zones as we know them today (1885).

Japan, Seijin Shiki - YA/NA fiction. Or Japanese litfic for young folks
