Carrie (cseydel) Can you explain what is meant by "diverse" in this context? Sorry, I'm new to this challenge, I apologize if this is a dumb question.

Margie (Bookzombie) (bookzombie08) | 52 comments Here are the ones I'm leaning toward:
George
Sunny - Any of Jason Reynolds' books would work for this prompt
The Gauntlet
The Jumbies
One Crazy Summer

Carrie, to me it could mean by or about a person of color, or a person with a disability, or a person who isn't neurotypical, or a person who is LGBTQIA, religious diversity.

Carrie (cseydel) Thanks Jessica! I see now. Somehow I got hung up on "diverse" meaning "many," so I was picturing reading a variety of different books, or an anthology by various authors.

Marni (marnitanya) | 38 comments Is Middle Grade like middle school? YA novels?

message 10: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (cseydel) Middle grade is targeted at ages 8-12, younger than YA. They are chapter books, but not as long as YA novels, and they are still tackling children's themes.
