I have had several musician biographies on my TBR for years after seeing the movie Cadillac Records, so I'm leaning towards Moanin' at Midnight: The Life and Times of Howlin' Wolf.

I think I'm going for a fictional musician and am thinking of Bel Canto.
I can also highly recommend An Equal Music as a book featuring musicians!

I can't decide if I want to read Tranny by Laura Jane Grace or Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl by Carrie Brownstein. I don't read many memoirs, but both have been on my TBR for a while.
