Camilla | 1991 comments The Challenge:

To complete this challenge, you must read 12 books. You are required to select 12 different movies and read one task of your choice from that movie.

Subsequent Challenges

If you complete the challenge, there are subsequent challenges you may attempt.

Badge 2 - Read 24 more different tasks/books.

Badge 3 - Read 36 more different tasks/books.

Badge 4 - Read 48 more different tasks/books.

Badge 5 - Finish all remaining tasks/books. You will have read 216 books if you acquire this badge!

Reporting

Each time you complete a book, you must report it in an individual message in your personal tracking thread. Do not combine books in a message, or reserve messages and then go back to edit. Each book gets it own message written at the time you report it. The reason is that a new message generates a notification (and my attention). An edited message does not and I will miss it. Report each book as follows:

1. Challenge Progress: Identify where you are in the challenge – Badge 1, book 1 (2, 3, 4, etc.)
2. List Movie
3 List Task
4. Link to book read. REQUIRED: If the cover is part of the task, link the cover of the edition you read as well.
5. List the number of pages of the edition you read. If an ebook or audiobook also give the number of pages of the hardcover edition (refer general rules on page numbers).
6. Give a very brief summary of the task.
7. State how the book fits the criteria.
8. Specifications required in the task. Some tasks require that you report a specific thing. IE – a task requires that you read a book from a Listopia. You need to identify which position number the book is on the list so that it can be verified.

Sample: Say I’ve read 5 books in the Badge 1 section:

1. Badge 1, Book 5
2. Movie - A Wrinkle in Time
3. Task - Actor, Oprah Winfrey
4. Link – Becoming
Becoming by Michelle Obama
5. Listened to Audiobook, Hardcover edition is 480 pages
6. Read a book from Oprah's Book Club
7. It's the lastest book on Oprah's Book Club
8. No specifications.

Requesting a badge:

When you finish a badge requirement, you will need to post in the Year Long Reporting Thread as follows:

WoF Name ________________

Badge Requesting (One, Two, Three or Four)
1. Movie, Task, link to Title
2. Movie, Task, link to Title

message 14: by Camilla (new)

Camilla | 1991 comments Thank you Janice and Sarah! I have maybe half of the books gophered, except for very easy ones like vampires or romance, or for those I will probably not even try like biblical retelling. From the books I'm currently reading, three will fit nicely and they weren't even chosen specifically for this challenge. But it's always easy in the beginning; the further you get, the harder it becomes.
