Its a really old children's book about a young girl (Tamsin?) who used to live in a seaside village and loves ships but later moved in with her uncle and his family in a house on a narrow street, the house has two blue dolphins on the door or something. The uncle has 4 or 5 children, Beatrice (who play acts that she is Catherine of aragon sometimes), (Giles?), Piers and a baby (Littlest?). Piers also loves ships and longs to sail, he and the girl (Tamsin?) connected. The cover of the book is a girl holding either a boat or a flower bulb, standing in a street with a row of houses behind her. Oh and in one chapter the kid's mother sang the poem "lullay mine liking" to put the youngest kid to sleep
