New Author: Help, please

Hello, my name is A.R. Clayton and I joined GoodReads on recommendation of my editor. I couldn't find my book in the GoodRead's search function when I went to try to claim it; funny enough it did pop up on here under the 'Book This Topic is About' search query.

Is there a tutorial somewhere for new author's to set up their pages? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

P.S.--I also want to link my blog to my author profile. I'm doing Blogmas this year--yay!
