Shoreham Beach Book Club Review MR DICKENS & His Carol

We rated this book as 10 out of 10 for people new to reading & 9 out of 10 for book worms.

The language was distinctly Dickensian s using a range of vocabulary.
Made us want to (re) read A Christmas Carol by Dickens!
The theme of clocks throughout the book was reflective of the past, present and future aspects of the story.
Cleverly written by the author Samantha Silva who originally wrote this as a screenplay.

I absolutely loved the ending of this book ... after finding it a little bit slow at the beginning. It turned in to the perfect sentimental read for the start of my Christmas season :)
