I just got this on kindle for free but I’m reading The Dragon Republic so don’t think I can read this with y’all which sucks. I was supposed to be done by the morning but haven’t had time to read!!

Chapter 4 (view spoiler)[ Did Norton really think he would get the job by acting that way? What a jerk. For I second there i thought she was going to choose him because he was the tougher one. I was so relieved when she kicked him off rhe ship. But of course the guy they do hire was hiding something and now they are in trouble. I also really want to know what Alejandro is hiding in that bag. And the lady with the chickens...could you imagine what that would smell like on a space ship? And what are they going to eat? I hope she is bringing lots of chicken feed. (hide spoiler)]

The similarites to Firefly are strong with this one... but I agree the book is very enjoyable... just don't have much to say about it, so far...

I think I'm past the halfway mark, but it's hard to tell, since I have the Omnibus of the first 3 books, and it just lists 64 chapters...

So I finished... kinda surprised where it left off... the book reads a bit episodically... drawing comparisons to Firefly again, I guess...

Also draws parallels to Stars Uncharted, in that regard... where events in the first book help to turn a ragtag group of crewmen into a team...

Let me know if you have any interest in accelerating the BR schedule to 2 books per month, at all...

Finished. (view spoiler)[ I enjoyed this a lot. I thought it was good fun and I really liked all the characters, especially Leonidas, Alisa, and Mica. Beck with his portable grill and BBQ was amusing. The whole part with Yumi and her chickens, and then her escaping the rapists by getting them high was also amusing. I was very worried for her, and the relief I felt after that revelation was great! I went from real worry to laughter. I'm not as sure about Alejandro. It doesn't
seem that his motives are all good, especially after that conversation he had with Leonidas. Also, I kept picturing him curled up with that box petting it while saying "My precious." 😂 (hide spoiler)]

I just downloaded the free omnibus of the first three novels. I already had gotten book one for free a couple of years ago, but I'm glad I don't have to spend money on the next two either.

After reading the author's afterward I might wait to read 0.5. She says it has some spoilers in it about Leonidas that are revealed more slowly in the series.

I am up to Ch 6... I really like the two ladies, and I am getting a ton of sexy vibes from the cyborg! I know, I am sick, but this stoic, strong, smart, take charge dude, but not afraid to take orders from a woman, really works for me 😎!

Wow! That was a fast read! I enjoyed it quite a lot 😊! It was a bit of an abrupt end, since they only dealth with the evil dudes, but little else got resolved, so I am looking forward to the rest of the series. And yes, I am totally in love with the cyborg!!!😎

I've finally been making time to read what I want to read, when I want to read... I'm not even feeling the points loss much...

I read Murderbot Diaries in a BR last year and loved it... I might re-read, if you guys binge it all in a short time... we were reading them as they released last year so had to wait 3 months between books...

I just picked up the first book for free on Amazon. I also saw that she has a Dragon Blood series. I picked the omnibus of books 1-3 up for free as well.
