Loved this little gem of a book, but I find it hard to say anything about it without revealing the plot. It was beautiful, but sore, and pulled on all the right emotions. The prose was exquisite.

It was my first Wharton, and I hear that The House of Mirth is maybe even better, so I am really looking forward to it now.

Jeremiah Cunningham | 714 comments One of my absolute favorites. I loved reading it, analyzing it, and teaching it. I should really re-read this one again.
