Genre Bingo - 2019
How to Participate1. Post here telling the Challenge Leader that you'd like to join the challenge. You can choose your books for the challenge at the beginning, or add them as you go. You can join a challenge at any time, as long as the challenge is still active. You must choose a goal for the challenge.
2. Whenever you finish a book for the challenge, post here and let the challenge leader know so they can update your progress.
---Please be sure to post the number of books (pages for the Let’s Turn Pages Challenge), you have completed every time you post an update. The Challenge Leader is not able to keep track for you because of the number of participants in the challenge.
3. Some members choose to update their original post with their progress to keep track of their challenge more easily, but make sure to also post a new message so the Challenge Leader knows to go look at your original post. You can look at how other members report their progress to find a strategy that works well for you.

I think it would pass as tragedy. Maybe for western you could use something like The Alloy of Law. I had a few I struggled with this year!
Also if you could count free verse for poetry I really liked Yellow Star and it was quite a quick read.

As for westerns, sadly, I can't read Sanderson's book because I haven't started the Mistborn Trilogy yet.
Buuuuuuut, Wikipedia describes Stephen King's The Gunslinger (which I'm reading in January) as a mix of genres, including westerns. So, hallelujah!
I'll be reading your poetry rec, Yellow Star. I'm trying to read books that fill prompts across multiple challenges, but that doesn't always work. And Yellow Star sounds like a great read!

I only get the link to post. I have tried saving, copy and paste and also the snipping tool,
@bookescape: Do you mean for getting the card? I use a screen shot programm and put it on the "selected area" mode, then save, and so forth. Maybe there's a better version - but that one definitely works ;-)
