Do you also use awards such as The Hugo nominees; Arthur C Clarke nominees, and other reviews sites like Kirkus reviews ?All good places to look. Oh Philip k Dick awards maybe...
Yup. I've been following the major awards and nominations. There is a very comprehensive English-language awards database at http://www.sfadb.com/For German language, I follow the Kurd Lasswitz Preis, at http://www.kurd-lasswitz-preis.de/ind...
Kirkus reviews, though. I've not looked into that...
I spend a lot of time on bookriot.com and bestoffantasy.com.
I know you said "science fiction," but hear me out. They have a jillion subgenres on bestof and a lot of them sure look like scifi lists to me, like superhero or sword and planet.

I've mentioned him before, but for new releases coming out in scifi, fantasy and horror, definitely check out Thomas Wagner's Mailbag Mondays on YouTube: SFF180.
I think Allison meant http://bestfantasybooks.com/ and they also have a sister site that's all scifi: http://bestsciencefictionbooks.com/

I will mention right now one resource for new releases that I like - the Locus Recommended Reading list that comes out every February. http://locusmag.com/2018/02/2017-locu...
