What is your favourite Dystopia novel?
Like 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, The Handmaiden's Tale etc.
Any one's we might not have heard of?

David (primemover) Farenheit 451 is the one I've re-read most recently, and I think that this is the one thats scariest, because it's the one that we, as a society, are closest to.

Im reading brave new world at the moment and i think that is the most shrewd one ive read to date. Talks of genetic engineering and creating castes in society from birth. It's a horrible vision of the world and we're going there to some extent now. Mucking around with cloning and genetics, plastic surgery etc creating the elite (an American dream) it's not far off unless we change. It's a little bit like 1984, it was supposed to warn against a future than predict it accurately. I urge you to read it if you havent!
