1. 'N' is for November:
READ a book that starts with 'N' or whose author's first or last name starts with 'N'.

2. Olympian Gods and Goddesses - POSEIDON: Poseidon was allotted his dominion after the fall of the Titans. He wielded the trident or three-pronged spear, and this image of him is reflected in art. Poseidon was most notably the God of the sea and the protector of all waters.
READ a book with a body of water on the cover or is set near a body of water OR has something sharp on the cover OR is third in a series OR has SPEAR in the text

3. Featured Author Challenge (FAC) author - Julia London:
READ one book written by Julia London or any author with her first or last name. Link to Julia London's backlist: Julia London

Fun Facts about Julia:
- Julia has received the RT Bookclub Award for Best Historical Romance and is a six-time finalist for the prestigious RITA award for excellence in romantic fiction.
- Julia grew up in Austin, TX
- Before turning to writing full time, she had a career as a public administrator working for the Federal Government, including a stint in the White House, and eventually back home in Texas.

READ a book with a T or X in the title OR with a character who works in politics or has a government job OR is a Historical or Historical Romance book.

4. Aviation History Month: Aviation History Month is an annual designation observed in November and is dedicated to exploring, recognizing and celebrating America’s great contributions and achievements in the development of aviation.
READ a book with an airplane or any air transportation on the cover OR that has a mostly sky scene on the cover OR where a character takes a flight OR has a pilot character OR has word AIRPLANE in the text.

5. Native American Heritage Month: What started at the turn of the century as an effort to gain a day of recognition for the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the U.S., has resulted in a whole month being designated for that purpose.
READ a book that has any character that is Native American or is of a minority ethnicity OR is set "at the turn of the century" or anytime before WWI OR where heritage is important to the story OR has NATIVE in the text.

6. November 1 is World Vegan Day: A day to commemorate and advocate for the vegan lifestyle. According to many prominent vegans, the vegan lifestyle offers a wide-range of benefits for human health, protects the well-being of animals and helps protect the environment.
READ a book that has a title or author name that starts with V OR has a character that doesn't eat meat OR has a character who is concerned about being healthy OR has a pretty environment scene on the cover.

7. November 15 is Clean Your Refrigerator Day: What's that in the back of the refrigerator!? I don't want to find out. Don't open it...... the odor may overwhelm you!!! Hold your breath, scrunch your nose if you must, and get to the task. Common speculation is that this day was created just in advance of Thanksgiving, to allow room for holiday leftovers. Hmmm...
READ a book where someone uses a refrigerator OR where the characters have to take care of a nasty problem or something smells bad OR a holiday book OR a book with something large on the cover.

8. November 23 is National Espresso Day: I can't resist anything having to do with coffee! The Espresso Machine was first invented in Italy by Luigi Bezzera in 1901. Luigi's goal, was decrease the time of his employee's coffee breaks, and subsequently increase productivity. His espresso machine accomplished this goal, and went beyond, creating a thick, bold, coffee that has become very popular.
READ a book with a drink on the cover or where someone has a cup of joe OR set in Italy or with an Italian character OR has a word with double letters in the title or author name (like Espresso or Bezzera).

9. November 28 is Red Planet Day: The planet Mars is referred to as the "Red Planet" because it appears red in color. Red Planet Day honors our celestial neighbor, the fourth planet in the solar system. Red Planet Day commemorates the launch of the Spacecraft Mariner 4 on November 28,1964 which brushed by Mars within a mere 6,118 miles.
READ a book with a celestial body on the cover OR tagged as science fiction/sci-fi OR has a mostly red cover OR has a 6, 1 or 8 in the page count.

10. Reader's Choice:
