I fell down a rabbit hole of information about this a few weeks ago when I was putting together this months blog post for my website... I started to write a bit about it but since I try to keep my posts on the shorter side, I cut it out for now...

Anyway on that subject what I kept was only a short tidbit of information (still a rough draft mind you):
"Aesop was a storyteller that is believed to have live in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BCE. The collection of fables credited to Aesop have continued to be reinterpreted throughout time. Aesop was thought to have live well over a hundred years before the first written version of Aesop’s fables was created."
