The laws of science, as perceived by humans, do change over time. The laws of physics according to Einstein are different from those of Newton, which in turn differ from those of Aristotle.
Aristotle simply used wrong premises (and had he followed his own prescriptions in "Prior Analytics" he should have corrected those). Newton's equations are essentially equivalent to thos of Einstein at velocities well below light speed, and at modest gravity.
Thanks Ian for the Aristotle reference. I have never formally studied philosophy, just dipped into various books.
