Points Update - 10/28We have just submitted our first full spelling of the word 'Crow'. Once we have a W complete, we will have two words done. We have the 15 bonus completion points for the spell it out and 2 bonus words done (Crow on cover as an item and Word iext). Excellent first full day, all!
This bonus is very hard - haven't found a book that I can access that fits it yet. Word as Genre on 1st full page: CrowNot many books tagged as crow, especially on the first page :/
I wish we could do the word Raven since the book I just finished has raven tagged on the first page. You're right though its so hard to find crow.
Agreed. I was looking like from the Crow but it was either really short stories or geaphic novels. I’m gonna look and see if there are more spiritual/folktale/legends when i get off work but yeah, its hard for sure. There are definitely more “raven” tags

Had a rather busy weekend and hadn't started a book yet. I'm going to start reading The One-Week Job Project: One Man, One Year, 52 Jobs today.
Erin or anyone who does have any books that fit “crow as genre” could you list them? Even if you cannot get a hold of the books, maybe I or someone else can.

Wish we got a substitute word, I think Crow is one of the hardest by far to find. Will make a small list
I've got my next 3-4 figured out. Two Os and a W, possibly an R as well, I don't know. I have two back to back soccer games tomorrow after work, so I don't know if I'll be around, but I'll definitely be reading! Hope you guys have a great Tuesday! If I'm able to grab any of the main page Crow books, I will!
I will have The Witch Elm finished by tomorrow because it has to go back to the library. It got such great reviews but I am struggling so much with it. I am finding it incredibly boring. I'm going to look at the spreadsheet but I think I might read Ohio next if O's are still needed.

Good news everyone -- it looks like the mods are allowing us to use the word "Raven" as a tag instead of "Crow".Hopefully this makes things easier.
Looks like Goodreads put out the 2018 Awards. I go between having fun with that, to being annoyed. Anyone else vote in it? I haven't read most of the books in the categories this year.
My book, White Raven (sorry on app so can’t tag it) is tagged Raven on the first shelf.

Jessi, I am perfectly happy giving up my bonus spot if you're already in the middle of reading a book with RAVEN and they're allowing it. Can we use both of the books for the genre bonus or only one? If only one, I don't mind if you take it. I haven't even begun my book yet but was going to so I could help the team.
Our 2nd week's word is CANDYCORN so we have a lot more options this time around but we'll need to read more books to cover the word one time. LOL I'm ready though!In fact, if Jessi can do our bonus genre this week, I'll move my book and read it for week 2 instead.

Ugh! I am not reading very fast lately. I hope it’s no big deal, but let me know. I’m feeling very guilty that I may not be able to contribute much! I still average about 5 books per month so feel like I should be okay but I just don’t know.

I am using it ..."Great to hear, Anna. I'm finishing up some horror books that won't count for the challenge for the most part, only have till tomorrow night to finish, for another challenge. Then I'm off to finish the others I have marked for this one. Definitely a fun reading week.

We can fill all four bonuses, but only once per each bonus per week.
That's fine on the spreadsheet, just let me know.

Ha yes, have to love the names of their products. The Pumpkin Cheesecake is brown and white soap, very pretty. I used the "werewolf" bath bomb but it colored the tub a little so had to clean it. I did get to bathe in purple water for a change though. Only at Halloween :D
